Day 1
Morning or Afternoon: arrival and accommodation at the Crocus Hotel;
Afternoon: visit to the ethnographic museum “Dona Maxima” in San Gavino Monreale;
Dinner at a pizzeria.
Day 2
Buffet breakfast;
Morning: petting zoo with saffron growers, harvest and visit to the farm;
Packed lunch or in a restaurant *;
Afternoon: cleaning saffron and didactic lesson on saffron harvesting and cooking usage;
Dinner: typical Sardinian dinner made with saffron.
Day 3
Buffet breakfast;
Morning: visit to the ethnographic museum of the Capuchins or the medieval castle Sanluri;
Packed lunch or in a restaurant *;
Afternoon: cooking workshop at the “Santa Lucia” restaurant: creation of local products made with saffron (with a chef);
Dinner in a restaurant to taste their creations.
Day 4
Buffet breakfast;
Morning: the rice harvest by the farmer;
Packed lunch or in a restaurant *;
Afternoon: visit to the company and didactic lesson on the phases of sowing, harvesting, cleaning and rice transformation;
Dinner in a restaurant or pizzeria.
